This package will allow you to visit different highlights and landscapes in Chile like the Atacama Desert, the Lakes District, Patagonia, Easter Island and Central Valley.

Day 1

Airport – Santiago de Chile

Transfer

Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.

Day 2

Santiago de Chile – Calama – San Pedro de Atacama

Breakfast  Transfer  Transfer

Transfer to the airport in order to take your flight to Calama. Arrival and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 3

Atacama Salt Lake – Altiplanic Lagoons

Breakfast  Excursion  Lunch

The journey starts with a visit to the Toconao village. This place stands out for its patrimonial architecture, for the San Lucas church and its bell tower. The main source of employment in this village is agriculture and craftwork. We will continue our journey to Chaxa Lagoon , a landscape of spectacular beauty, divided in several water mirrors, where many flamencos and other birds like Paringas live. Later, we will continue to the High Plateau in order to go over the lagoons Miscanti and Miñinques, located more than 4200 mts. above sea level. This place is a surprising destination, habitat of a wide variety of birds and surrounded by impressive volcanoes. Finally, we will visit the Jere valley. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 4

El Tatio Geysers & Machuca – Moon Valley

Breakfast  Excursion

This tour stars very early in the morning in order to observe the sunrise in one of the most important geothermic fields in the world: the Tatio Geysers. There are over 70 geysers with pools of boiling water spurting vapor. We will then enjoy a deserved breakfast in this amazing setting, in the shadows of the Andes. On our way back to San Pedro de Atacama, We will visit the village of Machuca, a truly atacameño village of just 20 houses. The inhabitants of Machuca will offer you hand crafted Andean souvenirs,as well as typical food from the region such as llama meat, sopaipillas and empanadas. In the afternoon we will visit the Moon Valley . In our journey we will be able to enjoy the beauty delivered by extravagant forms that the cordillera mountain range gives us encouraging to imagination and reflection for your peace of mind. we will enjoy one of the best views of the Andes and its volcanoes. Finally we will watch the sunset that through its colorful gives us a wonderful end to our tour. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 5

San Pedro de Atacama – Calama – Puerto Varas

Today you will be transferred to Calama in order to take your flight to Puerto Montt via Santiago de Chile. Upon arrival you will be taken to Puerto Varas, known as the “City of Roses”, located on the shores of Llanquihue lake. Here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco and the beach in the summer months. Overnight in Puerto Varas.

Day 6

Chiloe Island

Breakfast  Excursion

This excursion allows us to visit the northern part of the Chiloe Island and the Gulf of Ancud. We will get to know its history and its forts, customs and legends. After traveling across the Chacao Channel, watching a large variety of birds and sea lions, we will get to the village of Chacao and will visit its church and have a look at this lovely place with its colorful wooden houses. We will continue our journey to Caulin, a characteristic cove whose activity is collecting seafood and seaweeds and growing oysters. It is also a privileged place because of the large number of migratory birds that get to it. Travel to the south west coast of the island of Chiloe to reach some islands in the Pacific Ocean where a colony of Magellanic and Humboldt Penguins which can be seen in the summer season, from October until March. This is the only place in the Pacific where these species are found as they migrate in the summer season. Overnight in Puerto Varas.

Note: Penguin colony from October 15th until March 15th. From March 16th until October 14th visit to Castro instead

Day 7

Navigation to Peulla

Breakfast  Navigation

Today we will be driving along the shores of Llanquihue lake and passing through the town of Ensenada before we reach Vicente Perez Rosales National Park with its magnificent lush evergreen forests. A gravel road leads us to the famous Petrohue falls where we will stop and take a short walk to admire the series of rapids and waterfalls formed long ago by cooling lava from the volcanoes. Continuing we will reach the Petrohue pier where the modern catamaran departs to cross Todos los Santos lake. During the navigation you will be able to enjoy the magnificent presence of the Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes with their different shapes and colours. After 2 hours of navigation we will reach Peulla on the Eastern end of the Todos los Santos lake. Here we will have time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Peulla. You can walk to the waterfall “Cascada de la Novia” through the native Valdivian rainforest. In the late afternoon we will return to Petrohue and by bus to Puerto Varas. Overnight in Puerto Varas.

Day 8

Puerto Varas – Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales

Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the bus station in order to take a bus to Puerto Natales. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Puerto Natales.

Day 9

Torres del Paine National Park

Breakfast  Excursion  Lunch

Today, we will depart from the hotel very early to start the full day excursion that will take us to the Milodon cave where a giant sloth lived about 12.000 years ago and then to Torres del Paine National Park where we will see the beautiful Torres del Paine range and lakes like Sarmiento, Nordenskjold and Pehoe. A short trek will take us to Salto Grande, a very beautiful waterfall, part of the hydrographic net of the park. Then, returning to the main road we will continue towards Grey lake; you will be able to observe this from the beach. Return to Puerto Natales. Overnight in Puerto Natales.

Day 10

Balmaceda & Serrano Glaciers Navigation

Breakfast  Navigation  Lunch

Today we will departure from the hotel to the pier in order to start the navigation to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers . After 4 hours of navigation we will arrive to Bernardo O´ Higgins National Park, where these two glaciers are. During this journey we will see Sea Lion colonies, cormorants, waterfalls and native forest. Condors will be seen from the boat. Once we get to the park we will see from the boat Balmaceda glacier. Afterwards we will dock at Puerto Toro, from where we will start a short trek towards the Serrano glacier. Return to Puerto Natales. Overnight in Puerto Natales.

Day 11

Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas – Santiago de Chile

Today you will be transferred to the bust station in order to take the bus to the airport where you will board your departure flight to Santiago de Chile. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.

Day 12

Santiago de Chile – Easter Island

Breakfast  Transfer  Transfer

Transfer to the airport in order to take your flight to Easter Island. Upon arrival a short transfer will take you to your hotel. Overnight in Easter Island.

Day 13

Ranu Raraku – Ahu Tongariki – Anakena Beach

Breakfast  Excursion

Today we will drive to the South coast and visit representative examples of not restored platforms, Ahus Vaihu in the bay of Hanga Te’e, and Akahanga, where supposedly the famous king Hotu Matua was buried. Proceed to Rano Raraku, quarry of almost 900 stone statues, 397 of them still lying or standing at the slopes of the extinct volcano with crater lake. Then visit Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais), most recent and biggest restauration on the island. Drive to the East coast and visit Ahu Te Pito Kura and the “Navel of the World”. Last but not least visit the beach of Anakena with its restored Ahus Nau Nau and Ature Huke. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean. Back to hotel. Overnight in Easter Island.

Day 14

Orongo – Ranu Kau – Puna Pau – Ahu Akivi

Breakfast  Excursion

We will drive up the extinct volcano Rano Kau, appreciate on the way a view over the whole island and see its distinct geological features, proceed to an outlook at the crater lake. Afterwards drive to the ceremonial village of Orongo , where the birdman competition took place and you can see the spectacular petroglyphs related to this culture, enjoy the breathtaking view towards the 3 islets Motu Nui, Motu Iti and Motu Kao Kao opposite the coast. Drive down again to Ahu Vinapu (not restored) and for some still proof of the influence of pre-inca architects in Easter Island culture. Last stop is Ana Kai Tangata cave with paintings. Back to the hotel. The second tour is to restored Ahu Akivi with 7 Moais, built in the middle of the island. The legend tells us that these statues are representing the 7 explorers who were sent to Rapa Nui by the king Hotu Matua. Proceed to the unrestored Ahu Hanga Poukura. Then visit the topknot-quarry Puna Pau with its red scoria stone, where all the Pukaos were made. We will also visit the ceremonial site of Tahai with 3 Ahus and restored statues, remains of boat houses, a boat ramp and other features. Here we see the only statue with eyes. Overnight in Easter Island.

Day 15

Easter Island – Santiago de Chile

Transfer to airport in order to board your departing flight. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.

Day 16

Valparaiso & Viña del Mar

Breakfast  Excursion

Known as the “Garden City”, Viña del Mar is undoubtedly one of Chile’s unmissable destinations. Viña del Mar stands out for its beautiful architecture, its impressive palaces and famous Flower Clock, photographed by tourists from all over the world. We will travel along the sea front enjoying the views of the Pacific Ocean, before arriving at the most important ports in Chile: Valparaíso . It was listed as a Unesco World Heritage site thanks to its colorful beauty and the uniqueness of its location on the hills, which create a natural Amphitheatre with the ocean as its stage. We will visit Cerro Alegre, where you can truly appreciate the magic of the city, with its picturesque funiculars, multi-colored neighborhoods and unforgettable sea views. We will then head to the Sotomayor Square. Afterwards Return to Santiago de Chile. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.

Day 17

Santiago de Chile City Tour – Concha & Toro Winery

Today in the morning we will explore Santiago de Chile and their highlights. Santiago de Chie stands out for being a cosmopolitan and modern city that perfectly combines its traditions with a modern outlook. The tour will take you to visit the heart of the city and its emblematic sites such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santiago’s Central Postal Office and its Municipality. We will also visit the Moneda Palace, which is the government’s headquarters as well as the traditional neighborhoods of the historic city center. The tour also includes a visit to the Santa Lucia hill, named Huelen by the natives. It is a real urban oasis in the center of the city. There we will learn more about Chile’s history and enjoy some of the best views in the city. The second part of the tour will take you to the eastern side of the city, to the financial heart of Santiago, known for its modern buildings, impressive glass skyscrapers and its impressive sculptures designed by prominent national architects. There, you will see exactly why this area is known as “Sanhattan” among the locals. Return to hotel. In the afternoon, we will leave the hotel in order to go to the south and arrive to the Maipo River, where the main and most important vineyard of Chile was founded: Concha & Toro . Their cellars are located in the picturesque region of Pirque. You will visit the gardens of the Concha y Toro’s family summer house, which dates back to the XIX century. You can also enjoy walking through the park and grounds of the house, as well as visiting the mixed garden, which has 26 different varieties of grapes. You will also visit the storage cellars including the legendary centenary Casillero del Diablo cellar. The tour includes a special wine tasting as well as a visit to the vineyard’s shop. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.
