Day 1

Airport – Santiago de Chile

Transfer

Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.

Day 2

Concha & Toro and Santa Rita Wineries

Breakfast  Excursion 

Today in the morning we will leave the hotel in order to go to the south and arrive to the Maipo River, where the main and most important vineyard of Chile was founded: Concha & Toro Winery . Their cellars are located in the picturesque region of Pirque. You will visit the gardens of the Concha y Toro’s family summer house, which dates back to the XIX century. You can also enjoy walking through the park and grounds of the house, as well as visiting the mixed garden, which has 26 different varieties of grapes. You will also visit the storage cellars including the legendary centenary Casillero del Diablo cellar. The tour includes a special wine tasting as well as a visit to the vineyard’s shop. Return to hotel. In the afternoon we will visit Santa Rita Winery , one of the most traditional vineyards in the country, surrounded by the unique natural settings of Alto Jahuel, this tour will teach you about the history of Chile and its wine culture. The tour begins in the vines, where in the mixed vine garden you can find out about the many different grapes that are grown there. You will experience the whole wine production process, passing through the wine cellars, the storage cellars and bottling plants. You will also be able to visit some of the old cellars built by French architects in 1880. Legend has it that 120 national soldiers sheltered there during a long and exhausting battle for Chilean independence. That is where the name of one of their most famous wines comes from. To cap it all off the tour ends with a special wine tasting session. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.

Day 3

Undurraga winery

Breakfast  Excursion 

Discover the colonial house and spectacular gardens of one of the oldest vineyards in Chile and immerse yourself in some of the best wines on offer. Located only 45 minutes outside of Santiago, the Undurraga Winery is an unmissable spot for wine lovers. Founded in 1885 by Francisco Undurraga, it is one of the oldest vineyards in the country, complete with its underground wine cellars that date back to the XIX Century, and that still store their best wines today. The tour will take you to discover the colonial house, its cellars and the beautiful French style park, designed by the renowned landscape designer Pierre Dubois. Three of the Reserve wines will be part of the wine tasting session, while an expert will guide you on your discovery of the tastes and aromas of Chilean wine. Rest of day at your disposal. Overnight in Santiago de Chile. 

Day 4

The Pablo Neruda Trail and Chilean Wine

Breakfast  Excursion 

Discover one of the poet Pablo Neruda’s houses on Isla Negra, and try one of the best Chilean wines in the Valle de Casablanca. Isla Negra can be found on the Pacific coast, a lovely little beach which is where the celebrated, Nobel Prize winning and influential poet Pablo Neruda owned one of his beautiful houses. The museum explains the fascinating life of the writer through figureheads, replica sail boats, bottled ships and sea snails. After this cultural tour, we stop off for a delicious lunch (not included) on the Algarrobo beach, where you can also enjoy a pleasant walk along the seafront to watch the impressive rolling waves from the Pacific Ocean. The tour continues with a visit to the Casablanca Valley , one of the worlds ten greatest wine capitals, famous for its white wine, in particular its Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The tour finishes with a delicious wine tasting session. Return to Santiago de Chile. Overnight in Santiago de Chile. 

Day 5

Santiago de Chile – Airport

Transfer to the airport to board your departing flight.
