The journey starts with a visit to the Toconao village. This place stands out for its patrimonial architecture, for the San Lucas church and its bell tower. The main source of employment in this village is agriculture and craftwork. We will continue our journey to Chaxa Lagoon , a landscape of spectacular beauty, divided in several water mirrors, where many flamencos and other birds like Paringas live. Later, we will continue to the High Plateau in order to go over the lagoons Miscanti and Miñinques, located more than 4200 mts. above sea level. This place is a surprising destination, habitat of a wide variety of birds and surrounded by impressive volcanoes. Finally, we will visit the Jere valley. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.
El Tatio Geysers & Machuca – Cejar Lagoon
This tour stars very early in the morning in order to observe the sunrise in one of the most important geothermic fields in the world: the Tatio Geysers. There are over 70 geysers with pools of boiling water spurting vapor. We will then enjoy a deserved breakfast in this amazing setting, in the shadows of the Andes. On our way back to San Pedro de Atacama, We will visit the village of Machuca, a truly atacameño village of just 20 houses. The inhabitants of Machuca will offer you hand crafted Andean souvenirs, as well as typical food from the region such as llama meat, sopaipillas and empanadas. In the afternoon we will visit the Cejar Lagoon with its incredibly salty waters. It is set in a beautifully turquoise colored landscape with views of imposing volcanoes and the enormous salt deposits that are hidden under the surface of this huge lake. Afterwards we will enjoy the Salt Flat Eyes, two fresh water pools in the middle of the driest desert in the world. Finally, we will discover the Tebinquinche Lagoon to admire the Andes and the white salt landscape. Return to San Pedro. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.
Puritama Hot Springs
Today in the morning, we will visit the Puritama Hot Springs. These are located 3500 mt above sea level and 30 km from San Pedro de Atacama. Here, we will enjoy an incredible landscape. Its waters come from the Puritama river and the temperature is due the proximity with volcanic material and flow to the surface in this place. You will be able to enjoy eight different pools of varying temperatures and highly medicinal properties. The sector is conditioned with the necessary basic services and terraces in each of the pools. Here nature gives us the possibility of enjoying this place reaching around 33°C. Afterwards we will return to San Pedro de Atacama. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.
Tulor & Quitor – Moon Valley
We will visit today the most important archaeological sites of the area and will travel to the past to learn about the origin of the Atacama culture. The Pukara de Quitor is not only important for the local history, but it is for the history of Chile through the battle of Quitor in 1540, one of the first conflicts between Spaniards and Indians. Afterwards we will discover the Tulor village; this is the oldest settlement at the Salt Flat of Atacama and one of the first tests of sedentary lifestyles in the region. And finally we will move to the Centre of San Pedro de Atacama to travel back in time up to the time of the colony, where one of the most symbolic is the Church of San Pedro, built and preserved until today from adobe, cactus wood, chañar and algarrobo. In the afternoon we will visit the Moon Valley. In our journey we will be able to enjoy the beauty delivered by extravagant forms that the cordillera mountain range gives us encouraging to imagination and reflection for your peace of mind. we will enjoy one of the best views of the Andes and its volcanoes. Finally we will watch the sunset that through its colorful gives us a wonderful end to our tour. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.

Today we will travel to the West where we will find the “Cordillera de Domeyko”, visiting Hierbas Buenas with a very historical importance on rock art It possesses one of the most important groups of petroglyphs in the region, a tour down the place will move us to the time of the caravans of indigenous people enriching our experience through history and culture. Right after and when crossing Matancilla, a valley rich in flora and fauna we find the Rainbow Valley , a unique place in the world, named so for the various colors that the presence of minerals gives the mountains, and because it is as if a rainbow had fallen asleep and gradually lowered to fall asleep in the mountains to not wake up again.
